And there we have it; Brock Lesnar becomes the undisputed UFC world heavyweight champion!

Carwin, the usual fast starter, almost took Lesnar out in the first round, landing a flurry of heavy punches and busting Lesnar's eye. I thought the referee would stop the fight at some point, but Lesnar did a pretty good job handling Carwin's strikes and defending himself on the ground. Carwin was exhausted in the second round and basically allowed Lesnar to manhandle him and eventually made him tap. I believe it was also the first time in his career that Carwin reached the second round. It was a nice comeback fight for Lesnar who hasn't fought since July of 2009 prior to tonight's fight.
